Q. What exactly is a "Customer / Contacts Relations Management (CRM) System"?
A CRM system is a computer application that helps you to organize all of your business contacts such as customers, suppliers, support companies, clients, contractors etc. in a logical way. It lets you access the most frequently needed information about them quickly and easily. CRM systems also contain many other features not normally found in a simple address book program such as the ability to record sales, leave notes and reminders, set diary events to ensure that important tasks are not forgotten and mail-merge; to print a range of common business correspondence such as letters, invoices, statements etc.
Q. Who is TEAMcontacts for?
TEAMcontacts is suitable for any individual or business who wants to improve the way that they interact with their business (or even personal) contacts. TEAMcontacts helps you to store and quickly find the information that you and your colleagues need to provide high quality, professional communications with others. Q. Can more than one person in my office use TEAMcontacts at the same time?
Yes. The Network Edition of TEAMcontacts can use your existing office network to let multiple users access it's database simultaneously.
Q. What is the difference between the trial version and the full (purchased) version?
The trial version allows you to have up to 100 users and only works for 14 days. After that, you will not be able to use TEAMcontacts unless you purchase it.
Q. What is the difference between the "Single User Edition" and the "Network Edition"?
The Single User Edition will only work on one computer at a time and only lets you have one username and password to log into the system. The Network Edition gives you access to the multi-user capabilities of TEAMcontacts.
Q. Will I lose all of my contacts data when I purchase the full version?
No. Any data you enter during the trial version will remain available to the full version when you purchase it.
Q. Can I add my own customized information to TEAMcontacts?
Yes. TEAMcontacts has "user fields" which you can rename and use for storing all sorts of information that you might not be able to store in a "standard" CRM or Address Book application.
Q. Can I change the look and feel of TEAMcontacts?
Yes. You can replace the TEAMcontacts logo with your own logo, change the background, text, button and highlight colours and arrange the window tabs the way you like them.
Q. How easy to use is TEAMcontacts? Is there any help available?
TEAMcontacts has been designed from the ground up to be intuitive and easy to use. It contains a comprehensive built-in help facility that explains how to use all of the functions and features in plain english. It also has context-sensitive tool tips which pop-up when you hover your mouse pointer over certain fields and buttons, explaining what they do. These can be turned on and off at any time.
Q. I use Microsoft Outlook. Will I have to type all of my contacts in manually?
No. TEAMcontacts can import any contact information that is stored in ".csv" format. Most of the popular contacts applications including Microsoft Outlook can export your existing data to a .csv file. Instructions on how to do this can be found here.
